Data Analyst
We're looking for a data analyst to support data reporting and analysis functions. Ideal candidate should have:
• Strong knowledge of SQL, and a good understand of performance considerations in large data analysis
• Good knowledge of scripting languages, should be able to automate repetitive part of data analysis with ease
• Experience working with reporting tools, for example Pentaho, JasperReports, CrystalReports
• Experience analyzing and reporting on large data sets
• Previous experience in data analysis and data cleaning
• Previous experience working with RDBMS like MySQL, Oracle, PGSQL required
• Experience in running and/or a good understanding of statistical analysis techniques
• BS degree in computer science/math/statistics
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain analytical reports and dashboards
• Write SQL queries to develop data sets in response to queries from internal and external customers.
• Ensure accuracy of results produced as a result of data analysis
• Work with data team to solve problems and interpret data
• Automate frequent data reporting and analysis tasks.
• Participate in the maintaining and enhancing ETL processes
• Work to improve the quality of existing data sources
• Help other parts of business to understand data
Nice to have
• Knowledge of Java/Python/Perl or other programming languages
